My journey in all things digital started in the 1990s. That’s right—I’m solidly a Millennial. I built my first website to show my Hanson fandom, and participated in the Teen Domain Scene in the late 90s/early 00s.
These days, I’m a substitute teacher and freelance digital strategy guru living in Elkton, Maryland, with my husband and my dog. I worked for nearly six years at Washington College as part of a small marketing team. I started with social media and eventually oversaw the CMS and helped people with their content and information architecture. Full details of all my work stuff can be found on LinkedIn.
In my spare time I’m active in local politics as Secretary of the Cecil County Democratic Central Committee (I also run that website and social). I read a lot (but never meet my GoodReads yearly goal) and love to see movies on days when I’m not in the classroom.
